Custom Splitter/Attenuators Help Simplify Radio Fading Simulations up to 20 GHz

Vaunix continues to augment our suite of standard Lab Brick test instruments with unique customized solutions to support customer-specific test system integrations through 20 GHz. The core technology of a recent custom designed and manufactured splitter/attenuator included 600 MHz to 6 GHz bidirectional frequency coverage, 8-channels, and typical accuracy < 0.25 dB over 90 dB of control range. The input level tolerance was up to 2 Watts and the step size was just 0.1 dB. They provided our customer the ideal integrated test unit for their rapid development of radio fading test systems.
